Carolyn has over 30 years’ experience as a Chartered Physiotherapist, including within Private Practice and the NHS. A member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and of Acupuncture Association for Chartered Physiotherapists, Carolyn is a Musculoskeletal Therapist, Sports Injuries and Spinal Specialist as well as an Advanced Acupuncture Practitioner.
Carolyn has a Master of Science Degree in Manipulative Therapy and two postgraduate Diplomas in joint mobilisation techniques and joint & soft tissue injection therapy. She also holds a two-year postgraduate Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture and has studied in Beijing Central Hospital China.
Whilst in the NHS Carolyn became Therapy Services Manager in 2002 with responsibility for both Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham. The hospital remains a key centre nationally and internationally for all Orthopaedic conditions and by continuing her contact with medical colleagues there Carolyn has a pathway for expert second opinion and advice for private patients should this be required.
Rebecca qualified with a First Class Honors degree from the University of Salford, she is HCPC registered and a member of her professional body The College of Podiatry. Rebecca has a keen interest in Biomechanics, Wound Management and promoting Health Behavior Change.
She completed her studies with NHS placements treating patients suffering with a wide range of foot related issues, from deformity to ulceration. Rebecca experienced various different types of clinics throughout her studies including High Risk, Vascular, Diabetic, and Musculoskeletal Clinics.
Rebecca is keen on research and her dissertation focused on the correlation between patient satisfaction and improved clinical outcomes.
Danielle joined the practice in Oct 2020. She spent 20 years working in Advertising & Media in which time Danielle worked for a number of high profile Media companies and for 7 years ran her own sales company.
Danielle’s experience will allow us to increase our practice offering and ultimately help promote our services to the wider area.
